Matthew: If you're sober enough when you get home from your Ladies of Leisure brunch pool party shenanigans, you should sew/repair the couch cushions and the dogs' bedding.
Me: Perhaps...hey, what time does the store open?
Matthew: Early, why?
Me: I need vodka.
