End of Fourth Semester

This past week has been busy, anxiety-filled, and quiet---all due to it being FINALS WEEK. {Cue suspenseful music here.}

As usual, we Ladies of Leisure tended to our students as best we could---which usually means the following:

--- being quiet AT ALL TIMES
--- cooking and feeding our students QUIETLY
--- listening with open ears while our students vent WITHOUT REPLYING
--- keeping our pets out of the way QUIETLY
--- finding activities to do outside the home so as not to be distracting
--- staying up late/waking up really early for moral support QUIETLY AND W/O COMPLAINTS
--- holding our tongues (hahhahaa)
--- keeping the house clean QUIETLY
--- ETC.

The grades for the semester will be released Saturday, or Friday if they're lucky. In the mean time, we managed to celebrate a bit today after Matthew's last exam.

Matthew, Tiffany, Mateo, and I went to Port to get a few celebratory cocktails at Fat Tuesday, but they were CLOSED. UGH! There wasn't a cruise ship in today, so that is most likely why they weren't open. We settled for lunch and beer at a restaurant called SWEET CANE. It was nice to kick back, enjoy the beginning of a three week break, and spend time with Matt and Tiff before they head back to Cali for ten days.

After lunch, we took Milo and Trooper to the beach. It's been a great day. :D

Here's a photo of Matthew and his loyal study buddies:
