While watching The Notebook and seeing character Allie struggling with her dementia, and character, Noah, reading to her every day:

Me: If I lose my mind someday, don't bother. What a waste.

Matthew: See? That's the difference between you and me.

Me: What?

Matthew: I would try every single day. I would spend every moment with you...because I'm nicer than you are.

Me: You're a tool.

Matthew: See?!?!
